Fr. We haven't seen a proper number 9 that doesn't only score tap ins or goals in games already won in a long time

I'm 77yrs old now Sourh London born & bred attended my first Palace game with my old Dad when I was 6 or 7 yrs old, we've had some good teams and bad teams but this one under Glasner at the moment are playing the best football I've seen, superb wins in the last 3 games, we have to resist letting Eze, Olise ect go at least till next summer. Fulham on Saturday then Man United hopefully give them a hammering as Selhurst.

Without Glatzner everybody would have thought mateta was a flop...turns out he was being played in the wrong system. Most up and coming strikers have met their demise in the epl because they weren't played in the correct system.

I'm not a palace supporter but I've watched some of their games recently and Mateta is a hell of a forward. One of the better target men I've see in recent memory. Has a great touch and hes built like a tank.

@@aceholepictures That's one of the problems, our owners consider players like Gallagher or Chalobah "pure profit". So far we're supposedly keeping James, Colwill and Gilchrist but with those owners there's no telling if they won't be sold simply for profit down the road.
