What a day this was... I was 18 and still remember it so clearly... The heat that day was unbelievable!

This was a football memory I will take to the grave. My dad and uncle queued up for hours to get our tickets to this game. Face painted, the whole family were there.. And the only moment that mattered. The Hopkins Hail Mary. I f**king missed, on account of me being a 7 year old and everyone stood up as he curled in probably the best goal which has ever been goaled.

The best kit we ever had i my option.....

One of the best play off final goals ever but fair play to Steve Coppell he steered the ship magnificently because it so easily could have fallen apart when Dave Bassett left the club in February to manage Forest jointly with Stuart Pearce

Mine came the year before when Steve Claridge scuffed a winning volley for Leicester against Palace in the Play-Off Final, then England going out of Euro 96 on penalties!

I was asked by my mum if I wanted to go the Play-Off final but I said 'no'. Maybe it was a missed opportunity but I don't regret it as I wasn't so into football at the time and besides I've had another chance since as I went to the 2013 final

I was devastated and from that day to now #2021 sad day to be a blade.
